Lightmare Creations is a space for learning, creativity and exploration, made by Talib Ali. It begins with free learning resources in English and Life in the UK and cybersecurity, with computing, game development, digital art and other projects to come.

The educator

Talib Ali is a Computer Science teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), England, who taught Computer Science in secondary schools in England from 2022 to 2025 and, before that, taught English as a foreign language, mainly in South Korea, including as a Foreign Head Teacher. Since October 2025 Talib has worked as an IT technician in the education sector, and the teaching portfolio sets out Talib's qualifications, experience and teaching philosophy.

How the Study Guide sites are made

  • The Cybersecurity Study Guide is a static website with no accounts. Any learning progress it saves stays in your browser. Computing is being developed using the same approach but is not yet published.
  • Each subject site is built and published on its own, so one site being changed or offline never affects another.
  • Their teaching tools are shared, so an improvement made for one subject improves the other.
